Sustainable Soil Remediation,Carbon Sequestration and Fossil Fuel replacement.
At Anglo African Carbon Sequestration, we specialize in transforming agricultural waste biomass from West Africa into biochar - a powerful soil enhancer that helps remediate poor quality and damaged soil. Our process not only improves soil health, but also locks up carbon dioxide in the restored soil, contributing to lowering atmospheric carbon levels.
In addition we produce both Bio Oil and syngas which provide sustainable replacements for fossil fuels.
We are committed to driving positive environmental change through innovative, eco-friendly solutions, whilst also contributing where possible to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The business is working with Research organisations in Ghana, Germany and the UK to develop a matrix of deployment "receipes" to suit different soil conditions and states that maximises the value of the biochar in delvering environmental and financial benefits for our clients.

Sucessful deployment and delivery requires more than just Technology and clever science. Realisation of the full potential of our concept can only be achieved by building strong and durable relationships with local stakeholders. The mangement team are focussed on building and maintaining these by investing in their staff , suppliers and local communities.
Anglo African Carbon Sequestration Limited operate in West Africa and the UK and our objective is to deliver financial , environmental and societal benefits to our stakeholders .
We operate Biochar production facilities where waste Biomass is processed in Pyrolysis facilities to generate Biochar, Wood Vinegar and tar.
Biochar is used as a soil conditioner to assist in either reforestation of degraded land that has suffered from "slash and burn agriculture" or to improve soil ability to withstand climate change by boosting moisture retention and existing soil structure. The restored land is then available for a return to cultivation usually with the introduction of shade trees to boost climate mitigation programmes but also to support bio-diversity and increasing rural incomes by widening the range of cash crops produced.
Green Coal is being developed as a replacement for coal within steel production.
Wood Vinegar is used as an alternative pesticide and reduces carbon usage and purchases of imported chemicals.
Tar is used in building products.
Enhanced Bio Oil is being developed for use as a replacement for Marine Heavey Fuel Oil.
The business was setup by private investors and generates revenues from the sale of carbon credits and the products of the Pyrolysis plants.
The Board's philosopy seeks to generate attractive returns for our shareholders whilst supporting relevent United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.Specifically we contribute by
Providing surplus power to local microgrids to support rural econimic development
Provide sustainable and secure energy supplies to host communities.
Developing micro business parks colocated with our facilities
Supporting cash crops that employ female workers and business owners
